Jim Jordan has never passed the bar exam. The fact that he serves as Chair of the House Judiciary Committee tells you everything about how seriously today’s Republican Party takes its responsibility for legal oversight.

As the bill moves to the Senate, Democrats have a responsibility to draw a line. Putting actual guardrails on ICE is the bare minimum here. Allowing Trump’s brutal secret police force to operate with essentially a blank check is unacceptable.
