Adobe is killing Animate! Oh no!

It's a good thing I have this trial version of Adobe Master Collection CS4 that is totally legal to share to download that has absolutely nothing to do with this image, nor would typing in a certain number during install convert it into a full version, not at all.

An anthro emperor penguin, standing in a pose similar to if he were on a cross. He’s wearing a sort of sleeved cloak thing, with long bits of fabric hanging down from where the hood connects to the shoulders, as well as a loincloth that does not cover his dick at all, and there’s an upside down cross pendant hanging from his prince albert piercing. On his legs, he has kind of a fabric version of assless chaps that are hanging very low and loose and are completely covering his feet. He also has an almost executioner style hood on, and the whole thing looks vaguely religious but also blasphemous. I think it’s neat, but I might be biased.

okay, it's back and working again. It only took an hour to get my computer started up, which honestly is about average, even with the blue screen.

God, I'm just trying to get commissions and I'm getting met with silence from people who are seeing my posts about it here, and actively hostile user experiences elsewhere that make sure nobody sees it.

So what's the fucking point if nobody is going to see the hundred pieces I just posted??? I understand flooding issues, but fuckin space it out to post one every two minutes! I should have used Postybirb, because that spaces them out and they'd have gone to the main feed. Holy shit.

So then I post my commission info and see there's an option for "this is an advertisement" and I think "oh that's neat" as I check that box, because it is, and...that also makes it not push to any feeds.

Just used the mass uploader on SoFurry to catch up on the last year of posts while the site was down only to discover that the mass uploader makes it so that nobody sees the art you're posting. It doesn't get pushed to the main feed or your followers submission inboxes.

What's worse is that ads are always in the highest possible quality, so I'm watching in 240 and this ad plays at 1080 and wastes a huge amount of data that could be spent on something I actually want to be watching.

I always get a little twinge of "how dare you" when I get ads on YouTube, but when I'm on limited data, that little twinge is not so little anymore because it's literally wasting my data.
