I love this interpretation! I had the scene already sketched out for a gouache thumbnail, so I was just drawing loose characters over top haha, just a happy accident.

Hello, I used ShinHanart Touch markers (WG1, WG3) with HB pencil on a slick marker pad- they tend to blow out the lines a tiny bit without dimpling any papers, so you get a bit of blending effect.
