My sweet girl is dying; today she was incapacitated & seemed to understand. I sang to calm her; she looked in my eyes so deeply. Her eyes began to water... she was crying. She's asleep now, well guarded by a little fish we got her at Yule. She lays next to his bowl, and he won't leave her side.
