I’d be interested to see what proportion of predictions are within 1 grade of the final outcome and imagine it’s very high indeed. I still find the discrete nature of the grades frustrating: a student scoring 1 more mark than another could potentially have their entire life changed on that 1 mark.

I wouldn’t say guess work..! It’s not a stab in the dark. When we give predicted grades we are never giving it with a 100% certainty and some subjects have more uncertainty than others. But sometimes a child can miss or get a grade by one mark, which is beyond anybody’s capability to predict.

I mean it really did have a 15 year hiatus of real talent though. Players that have won slams born in the 90s close to zero.

…if the money went up every time they correctly voted out a millionaire then it would work. Incentivise people to actually get it right and not vote for their friends to stay. Also how do we know the money moves ‘randomly’ when it is reallocated?

#milliondollarsecret really doesn’t work as a premise because - as the contestants worked out by episode 3 - there is absolutely no incentive to finding the millionaire so they end up just voting for people they don’t like - which means that it’s just a game of Big Brother essentially.

I actually disagree. I think Sara ignored what he said because she wanted to hear what she wanted to hear. It was pretty obvious from his reaction to BLM, gay rights etc that he was nowhere near aligned with her - he did say he’d be comfortable around her sister (and he was).
