I work for a fairly prolific company. When we opened a location in downtown LA the solution to the homeless problem wasn’t to crack down on them. It was to fund local shelters and get on a name basis with them since they’re part of our community, increasing the mutual safety between us.

When I was a poor film student living a few blocks away from there almost twenty years ago The Art Theater was like my second home. I will never stop being jealous of a friend of mine who actually managed to get married there.
