I really like the idea of using video games as a medium to tell local history in a fun way, but I think that's a pretty far off project for me. Still, can't stop thinking about it lately

I am really struggling a lot. I try to do everything I can to stay positive cause it always feels terrible being pessimistic, but it feels like I'm running out of leverage to use against my brain fast.

It's making me so unbelievably angry people are still dogpiling Itch, like it could NOT be clearer they're doing everything they can, and the companies to *actually* push back against are obvious too! What the fuck are we doing?!

Making progress on the STARWHAL fangame! I've recreated the player, it isn't throwing any more uncaught errors, and the heart is properly animating!

However, the player does not and cannot move, with no logs or errors detailing why. Still, progress!
