Throwback to last weekend's @qgcon.bsky.social, where I got to moderate a discussion with a wonderful group of organisers.

On our other side we had @unquietgames.bsky.social and their game Banned Together. A puzzle exploration game taking place in a college library with a very unique focus mechanic I can see future games trying to mimic!

Had a big weekend at @qgcon.bsky.social ! Spent all our time in the arcade showing our game and playing the games of cool indie devs!

Had a lovely time playing MAGNIFICO’S CIRCUS—the top-rated Escape Room in the world—with a bunch of queer game designer friends while in Montreal for @qgcon.bsky.social!

A really excellent experience full of delightful interactions, lovely scenic design, & genuinely cool characters.

I have wondered about ways to use my metalsmithing skills to make things other than jewelry... and @lackingceremony.bsky.social's keynote at @qgcon.bsky.social now has me thinking about making metal artifacts for TTRPGs and how they might contribute to gameplay 🤔

It's tough to pick faves amidst so many fantastic talks & speakers, but I think @princerosalium.bsky.social's talk at @qgcon.bsky.social in the Spite, Survival, and Joy panel this year was such an amazing way to round out the weekend. What a balm! <3
