Lonnie Loach gave the Komets 'legitimacy' with legendary season, overtime goal On April 21, 1991, during the Franke family’s first year of owning the Komets, Loach scored a game-winning goal against the Indianapolis Ice in game 7 of the first round of the Turner Cup Playoffs.

Lonnie Loach passed away Monday after a bout with cancer at age 57.

He’s the last #Komets player with more than 50 goals in a season, but he’s most remembered for one goal on April 21, 1991, that changed the trajectory of the franchise forever.

Miller hopes to inspire Fort Wayne kids just as prior Komets legends did him Hockey was Miller’s first love, formulated at Komets games just 20 minutes from his house and forged in northeast Indiana by the players before him who wore the Komets logo

Matt Miller grew up going to #Komets games at the Coliseum as a fan. Now, he'll be on the ice for them, hoping to be an inspiration to today's young fans. #ECHL

TV Was Always Meant To Die I’ve asked “Who keeps giving shows to Tim Allen?” more recently than I’m proud to admit.

Does everybody know what time it is?
