ChatGPT vs Gemini: I tested both to see which actually makes you more productive โ€” hereโ€™s the winner I tested both for writing, planning and focus to find out

Another lazy "award winning" journalist uses a non-representative set of prompts to decide whether #ChatGPT or #Gemini is "better" (whatever that means). Might as well have asked, "which is better, chocolate or strawberry ice-cream? Here's the winner."

Meta is earning a fortune on a deluge of fraudulent ads, documents show Meta projected 10% of its 2024 revenue would come from ads for scams and banned goods, and it internally estimates that its platforms show users 15 billion scam ads a day, company documents show.

So #Meta is showing 15 billion scam adverts a day - who'd have thought it!
(And their way of combatting this is to charge the scammers more!)

I turned my old TV into a smart dashboard with just a Raspberry Pi You can either put extra effort with open-source options or just pay for it, but with less customization.

This is nowhere as straightforward as the title implies. The article details some of the trials and tribulations involved, but to put it simply, there's an awful lot of faffing around involved.
Still, it's a rewarding project!

I like the idea a lot. Not just for printers, but also for filament management at home or in the workshop. Having scales which could keep track of exactly what you've got in the cupboard would be very handy.

Prusa Launches Limited Edition 'Signature Oak' 3D Printer Hewn from slabs of Czech oak, personalized, signed, and, ultimately, still a great 3D printer, the Signature Oak is a Prusa passion project hewn to life.

The design doesn't actually speak to me, but generally speaking I like the idea of special editions.

Avoid Missed Connections With The Connectorbookโ€™s Web Tool Connectors are wonderful and terrible things. Wonderful, in that splicing wires every time you need to disassemble something is really, really annoying. Terrible in that it can be just such an incrโ€ฆ

This is really handy. In particular, the quick pick option is great when you don't actually know the name of the connector, but know what it looks like.

CoreXY 3D Printer Has A Scissor-Lift Z-axis So It Folds Down! We donโ€™t know about you, but one of the biggest hassles of having a 3D printer at home or in the โ€˜shop is the space it takes up. Wouldnโ€™t it be useful if you could fold it down? Wโ€ฆ
