I'm taking an online class where the instructor has a lot of pre-recorded video tutorials that are making me angry and nauseous from all her teeth sucking and pointless wet mouth noises. How do people not listen back to their own work and get disgusted?

Alright, AutoCAD is still trash but I do wish @sketchupofficial.bsky.social had the ability to choose between drawing a circle with either Radius or Diameter dimension instead of being stuck with radius. Some tangent options would be nice too.

For my work (I design cleanrooms) I tried to animate my cleanroom tech model waving and it went disturbingly wrong.

People who narrate instructional videos for college classes and don't do something to control their gross mouth noises are the worst.

That's why sugar packets were invented.

A friend casually mentioned he wanted a pocket knife holder for his knife drawer (I guess that's a thing?) so I drew up this real quick. It's a rough draft and will go through some more changes, but I love being able to make an idea real.

I'm one week into an intro to AutoCAD college class and I can confirm it's one of the worst user experiences I've ever had from a software.

Why is it that Everytime I'm in a waiting room with multiple boomers at least one will pull out their phone and start playing videos at full volume? Usually the same people that complain about "tablet kids", too.

Am I the only person that walks through an Ace Hardware and fantasizes about being the friendly old guy working there who genuinely wants to know what project you're working on?

I got tired of losing the remote to my basement gym-area TV so I drew and printed a simple holder to mount to the wall. It's little things like this that make owning a 3d printer feel so good.

In a spot where an old hobby shop used to be I saw a new sign that said Rustic Raven, but in this snow storm I miss read it as Autistic Haven and got excited because I thought it was another hobby shop.

It's not, and now I feel bad for multiple reasons.

Trying out a place in Longmont, CO called "The Food Hall". It's a food court without the mall, and no giant chain restaurants. Oh, there's a bar and a small arcade, too. I might be in love.

As someone living near Denver desperately trying to be a Rockies fan, I feel this so much.

Throwback to last year, Spent way too long designing/printing a mini cleanroom ornament for my coworkers (we build cleanrooms). I learned a lot from the experience and really solidified my new love of 3d printing.
