All these people, thinking that they just fell on hard times, never realizing how easily everything was orchestrated to put them in a position of living a worse life. Blind to the truth and grateful for what scraps they are given, as if none of this were intentional.

My Steam Deck suddenly started muting itself completely, and nothing I adjusted in settings would fix it. 😭
I set it down and have not picked it up for probably 3-4 weeks now. Audio in games help make it SO immersive, and my brain has zero desire to play anymore when the sound element is missing.

Last time I went to Olive Garden, I made the grave mistake of getting distracted while the waiter was grating parm into my soup. Rather than say anything he just... kept going. There was a fuckton of cheese, which I scooped onto a saucer. This more than carried me through the rest of the meal. Oops!

You know what really sucks? Being called lazy by someone who knows you (and should fucking well know better) when you are chronically ill.

People refused to do the barest of minimums for even their own personal survival.

And frankly, it doesn't just need to be while out in nature.

Please let me just bask in my daydream that I am utterly alone. No matter where I am located, I have no desire to hear or interact with any humans that are unfamiliar to me.
