What makes an ideal participant of social media political discussions? One only needs to log in to services such as X or BlueSky to see that one prominent way of using social media is to discuss politics with peers.

I've had a review experience where the manuscript contained multiple references with the broad subject area kind of correct, but the studies and their results were still way too far away from the claims. Maybe this explains what was going on in there.
