I've been sick, and mentally drained for the last two weeks. I need to get out of this slump. Ugh.

Yep. She makes excuses for him. I even had it out with him when he was here, because I heard him on the phone screaming at his girlfriend in NY, calling her names, talking down, etc. It was triggering for me. I told him abuse isn't welcome in my home, and he actually yelled at ME. Dude is bad news.

Third biggest problem, her "friend" has a partner, who also has anger issues, and jealousy issues. When Amanda is in NY, she stays with both of them at that girls place. She's in serious danger, IMO.

Fourth problem, she will be going there bi monthly, a place she's not safe or staying healthy.

Second biggest problem, she has health issues, and she came back from NY far too skinny, even her face looked gaunt (never seen her that thin before), and her skin looked bad. She has skin issues, attached to health issues, and her skin looked fine before she left for NY.

I'm worried about roomie, after her trip to NY, and the creepy guy "friend" from there who stayed here for a week, I've seen even more red flags than I did before. Biggest problem, he's got anger and control issues. I don't like him, at all. I don't know how she doesn't see he's not a safe person.

It sounded fairly "normal" to my New England ears, but to other people they'd hear an accent slip. With that knowledge in my head, I listened again, and yeah I could now identify where the slip up was. 😅🤣

Saw a video where people were talking about Tom Hollands accent slipping, I was confused because I didn't hear it, yet I'm good at hearing that stuff. Then I saw comments where people were like he actually sounds like he's from the North East, and I realized why I didn't catch the accent slip up.

When people have "their" recipes put on their headstone after they die, and sometimes I recognize it because it comes from a package, or a classic old cookbook, I just have to laugh. Because, did they really have their family convinced that was their secret recipe, that it was their creation? 🤣

The receipt was still in it too, it was bought in August, the Boston girl in me is shocked they've had it this long. Clearly it was meant to be mine. Yes, I will be getting coffee and donuts this Saturday, lol.

Last night I said I wanted Dunkin ice cream, it doesn't exist, but I want it. So today, in the ice cream isle at the store, we found this... The Dunkin Gods have spoken. They gave me a free $10 gift card to get coffee and then take that coffee, and mix it in ice cream!

Same. I've been thinking about rewatching soon, I found 2 of the movies at Goodwill, just need the second one.

I may be a grown ass adult, and I may no longer live in New England, but that didn't stop me from printing out Market Baskets Halloween coloring contest sheet. Nostalgia hit me real hard, lol.

Couldn't figure out why I was so cold, looked at the temperature. What do you mean it's 41°? When did this happen? Has it been getting cold at night? I mean, I know it's been in the 50s lately, but I can tolerate that for the most part. But once it's under about 52° is when I start feeling cold, lol

Side note: Something I’m surprised wasn’t mentioned here, people tend to call Cumberland Farms “Cumbies“. They’re basically our 7-11, BTW.

So every Spring and Summer I talk about the B nextdoor, because she's always WATCHING me. I didn't notice her doing it this year. So, she either stopped, or she set up cameras to watch me that way. I'm not paranoid for no reason,she's been creepily watching me for like 8 or 9 years. Why stop now? 😅

I see a lot of people say that listening to audio books is the same as reading. As someone who reads, and has listened to audio books, I simply don't understand how some people consider listening the same as reading. They're very different experiences, and I like them each for their differences.

One of my random favorite memories from school was in 3rd grade when my teacher gave us a Fall project to do when we got home. It was to find colorful leaves, and preserve them in wax paper. I didn't know that was a thing, and was so excited doing it, lol.

September flew by, but I swear October is going in slow motion.

Granted, she has a few more weeks out there, but I have my doubts she will end up doing much of anything.

Roomie has been in New York for 5 days now, and hasn't done anything except hang out in a tiny apartment in the Bronx with a couple of creepy weirdos. 😅 She's always wanted to go NYC, but hasn't seen or done anything there yet, creepy dude keeps pushing off plans to do things. Which I predicted.

Apparently Thirstea has been open for two years and I had no idea, until I checked the Too Good to Go app (which I haven't looked at in ages), and they were on there. Got 2 mystery boba teas for $4 and they're so good! This one is strawberry (the other one is mango)...
