Like Miley and Gaga both have new albums out... I'm a big fan of both of them and there's some stuff on there that I like but they're not working with the same type of creative juice that they had in their prime. And that's expected, or at least it is for me.

I continue to be confused why so many people seem to expect musical artists who hit their creative peak 10-20 yrs ago to continue to produce their best work now.

There's always some incredibly talented exceptions to that rule (hello Beyoncé) but for the vast majority of artists, it's the other way.
