if you’re cis, don’t offer trans people meaningless platitudes. instead:
- pay for someone’s HRT
- help a trans person find employment and housing
- donate to local trans organizations
- contact your reps and demand non-compliance with policies targeting trans people
- *listen* to us

people who have never experienced inconvenience in their lives will accuse you of fear-mongering and hysteria when you describe the world as it is for people who aren't them. this is because they are fundamentally incapable of imagining that anyone else's experience is different from theirs.
