SOS: Someone please send tickets for my daughter and I, and collect us at Grantley Adams airport! I'm homesick, I miss my family, and I want out of this cold, snowy mess! This is Bathsheba, my favourite place on earth, as well as my late mother's favourite place on earth. Under a blue sky with white puffy clouds, a sunlit beach can be seen. This is on the Atlantic side of the island so waters are a little rougher, which makes for great surfing not far from here. Barbados is a coral Island, not volcanic like all of the others in the Caribbean. There are large boulders of coral along the beach. Also in this photo is the grassy hill surrounding the beach complete with palm trees.
