Very! This year I’ve put the trap out and I’m never sure what I’m going to get, totally crazy. I thought it might have calmed down a bit by now, but no it’s still bonkers

I’d stick to the birds, though tonight might be good for moths if the temp and cloud cover hold up

47/27 in the trap last night in SE Hants. Bit of a strange one, Blair’s Shoulder Knot, the first since 2023, A. schalleriana (4th record), Scarce Footman (9 wks after the last one), Acrobasis consociella (4 wks after my latest ever). Also Four-Spotted Footman, 3 Merv (NFY) and Angle Shades #teammoth

I ended up with 3 as well, and coincidentally none of mine were in the trap either!

Latest I’ve had my first record. And a dark not Dark Chestnut just turned up with almost point wings, reminding me how bad I am at separating them

I will send this one off in the morning with some guidance on which way to fly 👍🏻
