Who is he fighting in the trailer? Imperials, thugs and some gladiator monsters. Who is he working with? New Republic. Who's on the poster? The Hutts and AT-ATs.
What else do you need to know that's not in the official logline?
Okay, trades confirm that:
1) That was indeed Sam Elliott.
2) Last night's spot was an original commercial directed by Favreau, not a clip from the film.

Even the Supergirl teaser was shown at a much less expensive (and more aimed at women / children) Puppy Bowl.

"Oh, so that's where Burton / Lucas / Madonna got this from!"
Also, I don't think there's been an official confirmation that the narrator is "the one and only Sam Elliott".
He's not mentioned in the description of the spot on YouTube, or on the website, or even in the Variety piece with quotes from the marketing guys.

I feel like your response to this is mostly contingent on expectations.
If you spent weeks hyping over getting an epic new trailer, sure, you'd feel let down. I was.
But if you're casual TV dad who never knew this was coming, you'd say: "Ha, it's a Bud commercial, but with Baby Yoda. Pretty cool!"
