In all seriousness, I would recommend the "No double damage" mod. It makes the combat feel more consistent because you always know how many more hits you can take. Makes it easier to play risky and avoid immediately healing.

Installed some mods for Silk Song. I feel there is a poetic duality.

They didn't even change the "line of identical smoke particles" trail effect or the "orthogonal flat blue circles with orangey sprinkles" explosion effect.

Those looked terrible even back in the day!

The thing that weirds me out, is that the only thing they changed were the character models, which are the probably the thing that aged the best out of Deus Ex 1 graphics.

Like seriously, you looked at this scene and thought the only thing that could use some extra polygons were the people?

Oh dear. That is... particularly bad even by the standards of particularly bad graphics mods.
