Funny story, I was playing commander last night and an opponent played a Vexing Puzzle box, and I countered it because I thought it was a Vexing Bauble 😅

Spark Double - 3U You may have Spark Double enter as a copy of a creature or planeswalker you control, except it enters with an additional +1/+1 counter on it if it's a creature, it enters with an additional loyalty counter if it's a planeswalker, and it isn't legendary.

Estrid's Invocation - 2U You may have Estrid's Invocation enter the battlefield as a copy of any enchantment you control, except it gains "At the beginning of your upkeep, you may exile this enchantment. If you do, return it to the battlefield under its owner's control."

This just in... Esper Terra + Spark Double + Estrid's Invocation = super bonkers and hella fun! 😄 #mtg

I think the confusion came from if an opponent sees the X in a spell like Condescend or if the number chosen is swapped into its place.

Good to know. I (and another non-judge) thought the X in Condescend was replaced with the chosen number after the spell resolves, so an opponent wouldn't see X in the spell itself

Judge! Had a question on Discord and I need an expert. Someone asks if you can use Elementalist's Palette to pay the 'X' on an opponent's Condescend. I said no, but I couldn't prove why. I believe only the caster "sees" the X in the Condescend, but can a judge let me know the correct call? #mtg

I haven't bothered with anything other than the print-to-demand charity SLs since they changed the system to limited run. It's infuriating. I might have tried to get the Tomb Raider, or Wolverine ones if I felt I had a chance...
