I’m fine with them innovating in the space to make it cleaner. I’m fine with scrolling back overprescribed albuterol to people with a mild cold. But none of this should be a negative to people with the health condition we are treating.

I see the merit in that. I misread the initial proposal as a format and not a variant. I think a variant, as long as someone steers the idea towards genuine positive enthusiasm and away from the whirlpools of negativity, could be quite fun. I still have a Hipster EDH deck around somewhere

And to follow up. I visited the store when it opened and had a nice discussion with the owner. I ended up judging the RCQ; and yes, I was compensated for my time and no proxies were allowed. I working on getting them a judge for the next RCQ and possibly start training a judge for them in store.

The chef at my cousins school has a dinner where they show what the cafeteria is capable of and they tell parents, we can cook these delicious well balanced meals for your kids everyday. But your kids won’t eat this stuff when you aren’t around; and that’s why we serve pizza, burgers and tacos.

I cosplayed an EoE common and half my ribbons were EoE themed. Thankfully the next MagicCon is May 2026 and Strixhaven prerelease is April 2026. So we have a very clear idea of the theme for that MagicCon.

So the ribbon popularity polls are in for #MCAtlanta. People loved being either the Stowaway or the Captain. But very few people chose to be Navigation.
The elements had a very distinct hierarchy. Fire > Earth > Water > Air
