So I attempted the Kohakutou candy again, this time using a blue juice I got from my local Asda and they seem to have set. Now I need to wait a couple of days for the sugar to crystallise.

I tried making kohakatou candies with fizzy slushy drink but that wasn’t a good idea as I assume the ingredients in the fizzy drink didn’t react with the agar agar…

Though the recipe said I could substitute water for a juice… 🤔🤔🤔
