An Italian themed building including a restaurant and gelato shop, 1/3 completed.

Currently building the Lego Italian Street Corner by brick_engineer with pieces I have on-hand. They put it up for voting for the Bricklink designer program, series 3, but it wasn’t selected, then they released the instructions for free for a limited time. 💚🤍❤️

This is a MOC that incudes a vintage VW van noodle truck and a tuktuk coffee and bakery cart in a fall setting.

Final form of the vintage food truck festival, designed by isibricks. The process of finding the bricks I need in my own inventory and ordering what I don’t have, deciding on substitutes and making changes based on my own preferences makes building MOCs my favorite Lego activity.

Several Lego sets sit on top of the left side of the bar top section of the counter with bins of sorted pieces on the back counter. There are various completed sets in other spots and a clean workspace to start a new project on.

Welp, another snow day tomorrow. I could do something work-productive right now or save it for tomorrow and make a mess on that counter right there… decisions, decisions…

That set is beautiful! It’s is on my list as a future purchase. I ended up getting two of the Animal Crossing sets from my husband 😊. I’m looking forward to the new modular dropping in a few days, though. That one is a now purchase lol.

The Lego GWP “Books Are My Passion” was a huge hit, it seemed. I’ve seen many of them built and customized, or displayed in a lovely way. I made mine out of bricks I had available and made it a vignette for my librarian. I’d love to see others! #Lego #LegoBooksAreMyPassion #LegoCMF #LegoGWP

My daughter told coworkers that she wasn’t going home for Thanksgiving and some of them invited her to theirs thinking it was because we were insufferable 😂. She had to explain that NO she’s just busy. But I’m happy for her that she has such nice coworkers lol.

They’re twins in the second year of their respective masters’ programs. They’re writing papers, prepping for finals, and applying to PhD programs this week.

Happy Thanksgiving! Missing my kids today but kind of happy it got us out of being social. Funny how the rest of the family doesn’t care if they see us if they’re not home…
