The last message she sent was at 21:37 from Walmart in Nanaimo November 13th. The last known location of her phone in Lantzville has been visited and the belongings from her vehicle were thrown all over the road, along with the jacket she would have been wearing last night at Walmart. Currently there is no proof she was in Lantzville. Only that her belongings were found on a logging road and that her phone's last ping was deep in the woods coordinates of the phone's locked location are 49.22796° N, 124.08568° W. The phone's last ping locked at that location exactly at midnight. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of the vehicle or her, please inform the RCMP.

After using Linux in the form of Ubuntu for several days, the most surprising thing is how utterly normal and reliable it is. A far cry from my earlier experiences. If this keeps up I just might install it on my Surface Laptop 4, too.

For no particular reason, thinking this morning about the Center Party in prewar Germany, and how it voted for the Enabling Act that made Hitler a dictator. Also the French National Assembly that voted all power to Marshal Pétain in 1940 before voting itself out of existence.

I think going forward, I’m only going to vote for Democrats who are also members of the Democratic Socialists of America. The rest of them are a bunch of candy-ass wannabe Republican toadies who keep bringing plastic knives to a gunfight.

If the Democratic Party caves in to the Republicans on the shutdown, it needs to die and be replaced by something with a spine.

I didn’t bother, actually. First I need to get an export of my old blog (which is still online at larryanderson.org). It’s on another small indie platform and I need to get the dev there to help with that as well. I will do it eventually but it hasn’t been a priority.
