03.10.2025 17:35 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Also y'll now have an earworm to take through your day. "We don't talk about Pluto, no, no, no." I had shaken Bruno out of my head but now...well, the only solution is throw on the soundtrack of Frozen.

03.10.2025 15:53 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0I had a lovely September reading through my towering TBR pile and buying more books so I will have something to read later. Looking forward to October reads: www.goodreads.com/review/list/...

There was a little "It can't" and then they read it and go "Oh yes it does. Sorry, we'll be right out."
02.10.2025 22:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Apparently staying in the same place forever (I'm told by IT guy that living in same place for 15 years is forever) leads to old tech malingering on. Good reminder to do a check every now and then.
02.10.2025 22:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I was finally driven to hardcore whining at the Internet provider (who I like very much as they are small, local, and generally listen) by Flights of Foundry and Epic Realms. Both video conference calls froze (very annoying). Turns out I was operating on a serious out-of-date system.
02.10.2025 22:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That moment when you explain to the Internet guy that your box was installed by his company 15 years ago. And then you realize he was probably 10 at the time. "This is seriously out of date," he says and I nod. Anyway, I'm upgraded and can do amazing things online...or like Zoom without freezing.

Been on a book buying spree. So added more older titles to LostLoves Books on Biblio. These lovelies are ready for new homes so their shelf space can go to the newbies. Also helps finance the indie book purchases and donations to literary charities. www.biblio.com/bookstore/lo...

02.10.2025 01:17 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ah, it's been awhile since I've seen this series. Surely this set is a "need" and not a "want." Will go check to see if available in US (often I get very excited about these things to learn I need to move to another country to watch).

The Forbidden Visions of Lucius Galloway: An Arkham Horror Novel (The Drowned City). Her book is a stand alone adventure happening at the same time as my duo.
Against a background of orange and purple jellyfish swimming through dark waters, the Drowned City Duo: The Nightmare Quest of April May and The Arcane Gamble of Harvey Walters shown. April's cover is orange and shows a young woman falling into a weird landscape, Harvey's cover is purple and shows an old man going underwater with bubble rising and something with red eyes and tentacles staring at him.
The two new books published in 2025 are my first attempt at a duo where there's actual sequel as opposed to "happens in the same world where some characters encounter each other again." Kudos to everyone at @aconytebooks.bsky.social for making this possible! And so pretty!

April May was written in 2024; Visions was three previously written novels plus two new short stories written in 2025; and Harvey was written this year.
