Living a life filled with perpetual brainfart moments.
Not bothering with democracy certainly has an appeal to Reform supporters.

It's hard to trust screen grabs after debating with so many Brexiters in the past over at the other place.
Can you provide a link for that article?
06.10.2025 17:21 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0As far as I'm aware, no evidence has been put forward to suggest that this action was anything other than spraying graffiti to raise awareness of their cause.
If you or anyone else can demonstrate that the aim was to cause serious damage, I'd love to hear it.
Part of the definition of terrorism being used to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist group is the INTENT to cause serious criminal damage in order to change Government policy...
06.10.2025 13:09 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The Government is seeking to stop all protests in support of Palestinians regardless of whether anybody pledges support for Palestine Action or not.
When you take the proscribed terrorist group out of the equation, you cannot justify the crackdown on peaceful protests.
Ali Miraj is a well known Conservative, who typically attracts a right-wing audience judging from the people calling into his show.
I make a point of listening once in a while to "know the tactics of the enemy", but it's a struggle not to switch off before the show is over.
The Home Secretary is clamping down on all protests, regardless of whether the words "Palestine Action" are used, because it's now apparently a drain on police resources.
06.10.2025 11:50 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0There is a debate to be had as to whether the member of Palestine Action intended to cause serious criminal damage or whether spraying graffiti on an RAF plane was simply to draw attention to the plight of Palestinians.
However, what the Government now proposes goes far beyond Palestine Action...
We've reached the point where the Government is prepared to accuse Jewish people of being antisemitic, just because they are protesting against Netanyahu's genocide of innocent Palestinians.
06.10.2025 11:44 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I don't have those figures, but the views of the presenters are quite wide ranging overall.
Katie Hopkins and Nigel Farage were previously presenters, as was David Lammy. I would suggest that the views of their presenters are right of centre overall.
And yet this Government plans to crack down on all peaceful protest by UK citizens that could draw attention to the plight of Palestinians.
The only reason such protests demand huge police resources is because proscribing Palestine Action as a terrorist group has forced a police crack down.
LBC's @alimiraj.bsky.social congratulated the Israeli lobby group on his show the other week for their success in influencing Government policy over many years.
Think about that for a second.
A foreign lobby group is applauded for using money and influence to affect UK Government policy...
When you have no sense of morality and your career depends upon opportunistic hate and division, it doesn't matter which minority you choose to target, as long as you keep attacking someone to stay relevant.
The important thing is not to upset the majority of your core base.
Some people struggle to understand how Farage can be antisemitic one week, then declaring his full support for the Jewish community and opposing pro-Palestinian protestors the next.
The answer is simple...
I think that he actually did us a favour here.
He admitted that Leave politicians were more than happy to use Nazi propaganda to exploit the electorate and win Brexit. Farage is still continuing that trick to this day.

And this needs to be pointed out to Reform voters time and time again.
He will toss a shiny coin their way as a distraction whilst snatching the purse from their handbag with the other hand.
It doesn't matter whether the private sector can remain competitive against a publicly owned company with strict regulations in place.
Ultimately, the goal should be to end excessive profits at consumers expense for basic utilities which we all need.
The key here is not to buy utility companies out, but use the full force of regulation to ensure that they adhere to strict codes of practice, whilst offering a public owned alternative as competition.
This will drive prices down for consumers, push standards up and remove much of the profit...
As contracts come to an end, each franchise will return to public ownership, which avoids compensating private businesses with taxpayers money.
This is why it's easier to renationalise rail than water and energy. However, there are other methods that can be employed to tackle utility companies...
But how long will the gullible keep falling for it?
Farage has never once suggested a policy that would tackle wealth inequality, protect our rights or help improve public services.
If you're talking about raising the personal tax allowance, that's a red herring.
The policy will leave a huge hole in Government finances, leading to DOGE style public services which will impact the poorest disproportionately.
Raising the personal tax allowance to ยฃ20k could be considered socialist, but only if Farage outlined a plan to raise that tax shortfall from the wealthiest.
Instead, he wants DOGE style cuts to public services including our NHS, which will ultimately impact the poorest the most.
The Conservatives say otherwise.
Then again, the Conservatives told us Brexit would be a roaring success and that English people would be entitled to an Irish passport to retain Freedom of Movement.
They also ignored the fact that the UK was far more reliant on providing services to other countries rather than exporting goods.
Then there were all the local businesses that provided goods and services to our larger exporters too.
