Huge recommendation for this beautiful story interwoven with North Macdeonian folklore about nature, love, struggle & a farmer & the injured stork he rescued π€

Battle Report
Jude Reid S&S
Thereβs a Black Library bumper crop on Warhammer TV today, as my guest spot on Battle Report goes live along with a Scribes & Scriveners episode with the unmatchable @squintywitch.bsky.social!
See me play 40K like it was intendedβby making weird little sound effects every time my minis do stuff.
Yesss so much fun!

It's a sequel to Steel Tread which I absolutely loved so am excited to crack in!
Tory holds a copy of her Black Library novel Deathworlder in from of library shelves
It's PLR statement day!

Josh and I. This was genuinely so much fun.
I pulled my personal Trazyn and Orikan models out of the display case at Warhammer World to let them tussle with @princeofbieltan.bsky.socialβs beautiful Salamanders army on Battle Report!
Genuinely one of the most fun gaming experiences Iβve ever had. Thanks so much to the entire WarhammerTV team.

If there's any chance it might tell you /help you experience something new about how your characters feel or might respond later I would be inclined to do it now! And/or if you have it clear in your how now how it will work, it might be easier to whizz it off while it's fresh.

Meet Lobelia, a magnificent Eurasian Griffon Vulture at World of Wings in Cumbernauld!
She's currently in training & doing very well at not eating people's welly boots (mostly).
It was a pleasure to meet her - she was very boisterous & playful. Vultures are always fabulous & she is especially so π€
I don't remember the last time I actually jumped when reading a book - it happened twice reading this!!
I was like 'wow incredible craftsmanship' while hiding under more blankets π
Victoria holds up a copy of Adam Roberts' book Lake of Darkness against a snowy backdrop and lichen-covered trees
My New Year read was @adamroberts.bsky.social very clever & very scary Lake of Darkness which gave me the mega creeps by chapter 2 but which I couldn't stop reading.
It's beautiful & horrible and I recommend/don't recommend reading it in a remote forest depending or not whether you value sleep...
They are ALWAYS ruining my schemes (often together on a package holiday)
