How do people not notice they upgraded from 10 to 11 by accident?
like, yea they look similar, but its still noticeable. especially if you open explorer.
I guess if all you use for pc for is for browsing and gaming you might not notice?

I do like the 11 theme tho. gotta say. just visually, the rounded edges are nice, the different colored icons in explorer. I like it.
though I have to get used to the new layout for menus and all that. I'm still used to context menus, instead of key shortcuts.

I just use it for a while and see how it goes...
so far 11 seems fine, tho idk it could do all kind of things in the background.

and if I don't like it I just install linux on it. probably mint or kubuntu because I already had experience with those and they were pretty good.

...it wouldn't actually restore the programs, instead they were more like hyperlinks that direct you to the appstore or bing, so I still had to manually install them. :P

I also ran the win11 debloat script.

I used the restore tool thing in the set up when it asked me and it kinda worked but also not. like it got the theme, the colors right, but not the wallpaper (which is because I told it not to back that up, so not its fault)
and the icons for some programs I used did appear in the taskbar, but...

got a new laptop, just for like emergency moments where my desktop pc is acting up again for some reason, so I don't just have my phone and my 20yo win Vista laptop.

It of course came with win 11, which I never used. I always avoided it, so this is my first time and... it's mostly fine I guess? ...

I've def. heard that one before, how female authors often got told by publishers to use a male pseudonym because books with female names supposently sell worse.

There's other factors too, but bottom line is to not focus solely on follower count, rather the quality of the followers. Someone with a smaller following can pay the bills if a higher percentage of the followers are invested in their work. And investment is created in spaces that focus on your work
