Robot Ocelot 🇻🇮

A painting of two succulents. The colors include greens, blues, purples and pinks. The outside edges of the painting have been pixelated while the subject remains fairly realistic.

Hurt my wrist and have not been able to paint much. But I did manage to finish editing this photo. The painting photographs weird since the canvas has rounded edges. I edited out some of the annoying glare spots and made a version of this with a border for prints. Hoping those mat better now.

A rhyton is a type of pouring vessel used for filling cups or making liquid offerings. There is a pouring hole at the bull’s mouth. From Knossos Little Palace, 1450-1375 BC Bottom left - Nautilus vessel - clay rhyton depicting the seabed with nautili, corals and seaweed. From Phaistos Palace, 1500-1450 BC Bottom right - Basket shaped rhyton decorated with double-axe motif. There is a small pouring hole in one of the bottom corners. From Pseira, 1500-1450 BC

I love how this Valais blackface plushie turned out. It's adorable with all the curly fluff left intact. It struggles like Bambi on ice to stay standing, as the top of each leg is very soft and wobbly. On the other hand it poses very well when sat or laid down. Now to find a name and a home. 🪡🧶🐑
