Again, thanks for organising the workshop!! ^^
For the chef, I imagined him as a 30-something working in a big city. He misses his childhood home in a village near the sea, and he feels his current life has no direction. He spends a lot of time in the gym to silence the bad thoughs. He daydreams about opening his own restaurant back home.

13.10.2025 20:04 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0On the other hand, my system does not support clothes that need a different armature than the body (you might want extra bones for deformation in a skirt, etc)
In the end, it's about the needs of your project, and a bit of trial and error. I've always found the Blender->Godot pipeline a bit finicky
I also generate custom Resources based on import settings: Does the garment use my hair material? Should it hide the arms to avoid clipping? Does it have color variations?
The npc keeps a list of these resources and the nodes are spawned dynamically.
This is probably too complex for your use case!
I wrote a python script to export the individual garments along with the armature each to a gltf file. You can do it manually, of course.
Then I import them in Godot as separate scenes. If the armature is the same, you can simply place the clothes node under your Skeleton3D and it should work!
Hi, thanks! Keep in mind this is specific to my project and there are many different ways to do it that will work for your own needs.
What I do is I have a Blender scene with the base mesh and all the different clothing pieces (I call them "garments" but it can be clothes, hair, face features, etc)
My pleasure!! Good luck with the game ^^
13.10.2025 16:02 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0All in all, I had a lot of fun at this year's expo. I wish I had more time to check out the artists section, but I had too many games to play! Maybe next year I'll attend on friday, too.
Thanks to everyone who has worked to make the event happen!!
Finally, I could attend two amazing talks by @apoonto.bsky.social and @inesalcolea.bsky.social. I had a blast and I learned a lot in both of them!

I didn't get to play this one, but it was such a surprise to find a game set in my beloved Salamanca! I'll be looking forward to their Kickstarter.

A fast-paced metroidvania with incredible pixel art. I already played it at another event earlier this year, but their new demo has blown me away. Neo-Barcelona is such a fun setting to explore!

The demo was short, but I really liked the setting. I was surprised to learn that the game is made in Godot!! I hope we see more high-profile commercial Godot projects in the coming years.
