Don't know if you're being facetious so my apologies if I'm splaining but its a reference to the Johnny Mnemonic movie, where Keanu plays a cyberpunk data courier that has important data written into his brain to transport it safely and covertly. Not a good movie, but I love it a lot.

My favorite Japanese flash arcade puzzle game creator has put a game out on steam. A cross between those puzzles where you move cars around a grid and a color-matching game. It's got wacky and fun music and a cute mascot.

A back-cover magazine ad for selling weed. Title text says "Make Money SELL WEED and win Fantastic Prizes" followed by two paragraphs that are pretty straight copies from how you'd expect the ad to be written. Next to the paragraphs are pictures of seed packets featuring weeds, including Dandelion, Bindweed and a bunch of other unnamed ones. The paragraphs direct you to send the coupons to 'WEED SALESMAN CO. Dept. 024, Lanfastfur, PA 64209' There are two clip and send coupons to send out for the seeds. There are three pictures of furries at the top right of the page, each with a quote beneath them. Joel Ballchaser, the well-put-together dog from Wolfington says "Everyone loves buying weeds from me." Mary Zimmerkat, the fancy cat from Fishconsin says "It's an easy way to get money and prizes." William Harelin, the hippy rabbit from Furmont says "I thought this was for something else." At the very bottom is a retro-illustrated drawing of a dog man holding two bags of money, with text saying "EXTRA! $3,000 GIVEN AWAY in out Promptness Contest! $1,000 eBay gift cards Plus $2000 more in Runner-up Awards" On the left side of the page is a bunch of small boxes containing prizes that you can send away for with the money earned by selling weeds. Left column text: Hello everyone! This past year or so, I've started listening to golden age of radio* (*1920's-1950's) stuff. There's a lot of bad stuff, both just for being old and boring but also straight, white, male chauvinism, but there's still some good stuff. Like "My Friend Irma," a radio show that spawned newspaper strips, comic books and movies- it's about two girls living together, a ditzy blonde girl and a serious girl with black hair. Irma, the blonde, has a boyfriend that's a total bum, and Jane sounds like she wants to kill him and keep Irma for herself in some o the episodes. Irma is such a 'failgirl' that there has to be some reason Jane wants to keep her around so bad, right? You get what I'm saying... I've always wondered what that genre is called but after thinking a bit I think "ladder games" works. Burger Time and Donkey Kong both have ladders in them as a major part of gameplay. Mappy doesn't have ladders but it's clearly a ladder game. Maybe even Hopper Robo?

Again, a 2x3 classic comic layout, as a continuation of the previous page. Panel 1: Edie walks out of the room covered by curtain she closed on the previous page while saying "Hold on, let me go grab one of my massage tools." Panel 2: Edie is walking back into the room, throwing the curtain wide open. Stacy is laying naked on the couch, touching herself erotically. Edie says "Are you ready?" while holding an egg-style vibrator with the little intensity slider thing like is common in hentai. Panel 3: Edie has removed her clothes, and dives straight into Stacy's crotch. She holds Stacy's leg up while Stacy closes her eyes and says "Ah! Edie..." Panel 4: A close up on Stacy's privates and Edie's head. Edie is fingering Stacy while eating her out and using the vibrator on her clit. Hearts are flying everywhere. Off panel, Stacy says "Mmmmn... Oh, Edie..." Panel 5: Zoomed back out a bit, Stacy has wrapped her legs around Edie's upper body and is using her hands to hold Edie's head in her crotch while Edie continues eating her out. Stacy says "Edie, I'm gonna- 💕Oh fuuuu-💕" while Edie says "Mmmn... Come for me, Stacy❤️" Panel 6: Stacy is laying back on the couch, looking relaxed and satisfied, while Edie props herself up above her with a satisfied look on her face. Edie says "So, am I forgiven?" Stacy responds "Somehow, I can't stay mad at you❤️" On the bottom of the page is a black bar with an icon in the bottom-right indicating that this is the left side of the last page of the comic, such that the right side page is the inside of the back cover.

This page is a classic 2x3 comic panel spread, with the bottom two right panels connected into one tall panel, which is read as the last panel of the page. Panel 1: The "My Pal Edie" title logo appears at the top of the frame, Edie and Stacy are both walking through the entrance to their apartment. Stacy is wearing a pair of flaired pants, a tied fabric belt and a polo shirt, and is clearly very upset. Edie is wearing a classic-looking cocktail dress and making a pleading gesture. She appears to be talking, but this panel has no word bubbles. Panel 2: Edie, with her hands clasped together, says "I said I'm sorry! Plus, didn't you say you hated that job anywa-" she is cut off by Stacy, who says "Edie." in an icy tone with crossed arms. Panel 3: Edie says "You're right, I'm sorry" while gesturing to a couch. Stacy, who is setting herself down on the couch says nothing, rendered as "..." and Edie continues "Why don't you lie down and I'll do the usual." Panel 4: Edie looks to the 4th wall/reader/camera and says "I'll just close this curtain first..." while closing a curtain, behind which only a black silhouette is seen. Panel 5: At the bottom of the panel, we see a silhouette of Edie crouching over Stacy, who is laying on the couch. You can't tell by the silhouettes if they are wearing clothes or not, like the classic movie gag. There's a number of word bubbles going back and forth from Stacy to Edie. Stacy: "Ooooh..." Edie: "Do you like it right there?" Stacy: "Mmmmn..." Edie: "What about here?" Stacy: "Ohhh yeah..." Edie: "How's the pressure?" Stacy: "Harder!" At the bottom of the image is a black bar with an icon showing this is the left-side page before flipping to the final page and back cover.

We're near the end now. This is the first page of a 2-part story, and it definitely uses the fact that you flip the page to the next one as something of a punchline or payoff, so keep that in mind when I post tomorrows. 9/12
