@fritzbogey.bsky.social
Hello, this is my art posting account, but I will probably not post on it very often I'm probably playing old video games instead
Can't wait for this ever since I played the demo
Figuring out a path for the green devil run was one of my favorite things in a game lately
If you see me or @piloswine.bsky.social at AFC ask for a copy of my new comic or her! first!!! zine!!!!!

Having never played any of them, I think we need an arena fighter. It'll be good this time though, I promise.

Trick question, it doesn't matter it works for both
Put the screen at an acute angle for lowercase, and obtuse for uppercase would be a funny use

03.09.2025 19:47 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Not to mention that once you've listened to a bunch of this stuff you realize Looney Tunes cartoons were basically the family guy of the golden age. Almost every random wacky one off character is actually just a take on some radio show joke.
29.08.2025 02:19 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So many jokes in the early seasons of the Simpsons came from stuff around this age. Grandpa was always doing old timer stuff, the 'yyyeeeees?' guy was just Frank Nelson, gabbo was clearly based on Charlie mccarthy. I didn't realize until I started listening to 90 year old comedy radio, too.
29.08.2025 02:13 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0A single panel cropped from a comic strip, featuring a dog girl (furry variety, not kemonomimi or pup-play variety) facing away from you, while talking on a corded phone she holds in her hand. She is saying "Hello?" "Yes?" "Yes?" "Absolutely!" to someone on the other end. The phone base is in the foreground, and has a funny-looking layout of buttons. (This comic has nothing to do with those buttons if you know what it is, I just wanted to put them in there because that's the sort of thing you can do when you make a comic I guess.)
Coming soon at AFC near you...

08.08.2025 22:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Are you using lenient mode? A bit after the rollback update they added a lenient controls mode for keyboard/hitbox players that makes only half-circle motions easier. I only need it for supers since I play Justice, but it is really nice to not have to be perfect on my only invincible reversal

25.06.2025 21:27 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The last panel is supposed to be magneto playing but I guess it's not very obvious. Whoops lol
25.06.2025 02:28 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It is a classic 3 panel comic layout with three equally-sized boxes. Panel 1: Magneto wearing his classic cartoon costume and helmet is yelling "X-MEN! Prepare to be defeated!" while concentric purple circles emit from his hands. Panel 2: Cyclops and Wolverine, in street clothes, are hunched over pinball tables playing games of pinball on a row of machines underneath a banner that says "PINBALL TOURNAMENT." Wolverine is standing on a little stool because he's short lol. Panel 3: Magneto laughs maniacally at the top of the panel, while the rest of the panel shows a pinball heading straight down between the panel, then taking a sharp 180 degree turn and going back up. Concentric purple circles are going into the point where the pinball turned, showing that Magneto is using his power to cheat at pinball.
#makeaterriblecomicday2025 I think this ended up not terrible, but then maybe that's the point... ๐ค

I'm an ingrid disliker but the new design in the thumbnail is way better than her original one they put Kenny in for the trailer. Gonna wait to see the model, but surprisingly I'm not writing her off yet.

01.06.2025 06:36 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Top of the page says "#3: Jupiter" in large text, with the origin of the robot "(Mega Man V)" in smaller text below it. Note that Mega Man V is the gameboy game, not the NES game, which is Mega Man 5. In the picture Jupiter hovers using his jetpack while charging an electrical attack with his buster cannon arm (I guess that's what they're called?). The captain says "For a boss that has 3 poses if you're generous, I really like this guy. I don't think a lot of people played the gameboy Mega Man games, but this one was great."
Top of the page says "#2: SCUD The Disposable Assassin" in large text, and since his name is also the name of the comic there's no parenthesized text saying it again. The picture features SCUD in a dynamic pose firing two pistols using his classic 'pinkies out' handgun grip. The caption says: "It's another comedy robot bounty hunter! Scud is a great character and a great comic series that you can buy in a single book. Classic 90s indie comic randomness and some great action." There is a caption in lighter text that says "Fun Fact: One of Rick & Morty's earliest appearances is an ad for the last 4 issues of Scud. Look up 'SCUD VLOG #12' on youtube. (Scud is real)"
Top of the page says "#1: Justice" in large text, with the origin of the robot "(Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R)*" in smaller text below it. There is a large picture of Justice hovering out of the page to the right with her right claw/sword hand extended. The caption says "She's got a really cool design, sure, but the main reason she's my favorite robot is because she's my favorite fighting game character to play as ever. No other character lets you cover the screen in fireballs but not die to a stiff breeze like her." There is more text in a lighter font that says "*Although Justice is in many Guilty Gear games, it wasn't until this version where they made a robot clone of her, to justify making this formerly overpowered boss character balanced for VS play" and it's true, Crow, the same guy that made Robo-Ky, makes robot clones of Justice in the story mode. I guess I'm not sure if the playable version is specifically a Justice robo-clone, but considering she can't dash unless she spends 100 tension to activate an install I'm guessing it is.
The back cover says "(No copyright symbol) 2025" with a picture of The Metal Men making fun poses beneath it. Nameless is not in the picture because I don't like her design. Beneath it the text says "I would have liked to put The Metal Men (DC comics) in this zine, but despite being called robots they're really more like golems or elementals- a chunk of metal animated by a "Responsometer." How would you make a robot out of Mercury, the only metal liquid at room temperature, anyways?"
The rest of the pages. A lot of people had trouble reading SCUD's name properly, but seemingly no problems with Death's Head, despite using the same weird 'D', funnily enough. Pages 5-8 out of 8.
