Actually, he probably does know. And if, somehow, it looks like enough GOP senators grow spines to convict he will try to cancel the 2026 election. This habeas corpus thing looks like a toe in the water for exactly that.

Don’t get me wrong. I’d love to be wrong but even deep red places have enough Dems to stage impressive protests. Don’t be thinking when you see these things these are unhappy Trump voters. Probably mostly unhappy Dems.

If we simply got the money out of politics it would zap a host of problems.
