Custom Popover Menu with SwiftUI

I really don’t like the lack of customization in SwiftUI's native Menu, so I built my own!

Used resultBuilders to try and make composing it as close as possible to the feel of a native SwiftUI component 🎯

Yeah exactly that. TabView with a hidden tabBar, the selection is binded to the same as the CustomTabBarView

Add ability to sort tasks ✅
Add ability to filter tasks ✅

Originally was using SwiftData to persist data in the new app I’m building, but I kept getting random crashes and weird behaviour.

Took it out and replaced it with CoreData and now everything working like butter 🧈

Anyone else faced these kinda problems with SwiftData?

I’m an iOS Engineer by profession, so literally the only reason I use it to build out my personal projects is because it’s what I’m familiar with. I’m too lazy to learn a new language 😂

😂😂 if only SwiftUI components could magically turn into React components! 😅

Created a custom tagging component for the Kanban board app I’m working on.

Pretty happy with how it turned out. Creating new tags and adding them to tasks is super easy! 💪🏾
