Using GitHub Spark to reverse engineer GitHub Spark GitHub Spark was released in public preview yesterday. Itโ€™s GitHubโ€™s implementation of the prompt-to-app pattern also seen in products like Claude Artifacts, Lovable, Vercel v0, Val Town Townie and Fl...

GitHub released Spark yesterday, their extremely well crafted prompt-to-app platform for creating and iterating on React apps with user auth and persistent storage

I like it a lot! I reverse engineered it with Spark itself, the details are fascinating simonwillison.net/2025/Jul/24/...

Gotta say, @zed.dev edit prediction model is so slick. The quality of their software keeps me waffling between them and Neovim every few months.

Man, I just love modeling state in @svelte.dev ๐Ÿงก

- State vars are just properties on a class
- Complex values, like this cursor position, can be $derived from other state. Svelte figures out when to recompute
- Go-to definition shows all the usages of that state too

๐Ÿš€ Big news! I was one of the technical reviewers for the book Learn React with TypeScript, published by Packt, and it hit number 1 on Amazon!

This book is a practical, modern guide for building robust React apps with the power of TypeScript ๐Ÿงต

Design to code has seen significant upgrades due to the growth of AI-powered vibe-coding tools.

In this detailed comparison, I did a head to head comparison of Anima Playground and Figma Make using the same Figma designs and prompts.

See the results
