I grew up going to an evangelical church. (I just couldn’t bring myself to ever get baptized and „saved“ though.) I’ve been thinking a lot about the things I heard there and how they’re not really in the Bible. Your comment is a good example.

I found NPR‘s coverage of Kirk kind of weird. It felt like cultural gaslighting. I was under the impression that he was a right wing extremist and after hearing your coverage, I had to go online and confirm that he was indeed awful. That was right after the Kimmel thing, and I could sense the fear.

Today marks the first day in public media’s history without federal funding. And we’re not going anywhere.
