After a great deal of consideration, I have decided not to seek a third term on the County Council. Serving the county that I love and have proudly called home my entire life has truly been an honor. It has been both humbling and deeply meaningful to represent this community as an elected official, and I am profoundly grateful for the trust, support, and work achieved over the past two terms.

Today we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the bravery of the first responders who risked and gave their lives to save others. We hold in our hearts the 11 Montgomery County residents we lost that day and continue to stand with their families. #NeverForget

It was a great end to the week to join Superintendent Dr. Taylor, BOE members, and representatives from the Montgomery County delegation on the back-to-school tour, especially visiting my alma mater, Walt Whitman HS! Wishing all students, educators, staff and families a successful & fulfilling year!

Last weekend, I participated in Montgomery County Little League (MCLL) Day in Germantown to give sportsmanship awards to amazing young baseball and softball players as well as throw out a first pitch for the MCLL Stars game! A rewarding opportunity for kids to learn, compete, and develop key skills.
