A high school friend’s profile just popped up on Facebook. His picture is of him sleeping which is fitting since he died almost 20 years ago. That was a kick in the heart I was not expecting on a Sunday night.

Did I buy way too many apple/cider mill related products on my excursion to the orchard by me’s market? Yep.

Am I justifying it as being close to Rosh Hashanah so I am religiously obligated to get all of the apple things while supporting local businesses/producers? Of course.

I hope that everyone takes a moment to listen to @bmeiselas.bsky.social’s opening thoughts on tonight’s @meidastouch.com podcast. It reminded me of thoughts on community and humanity shared during past moments of crisis by my rabbi growing up. I hope people take it to heart.

I have been far too efficient with my work tasks today and am now doing the tedious and mind numbing things I would rather avoid like billing rejections and disenrollments. I need more caffeine.

I realize there are more important things going on in the world, but I am pretty disappointed that I can’t find any available Disney hunnyween merch to be able to send to my niece for a cute little surprise.

He was as of a few hours ago. I unfollowed him back in 2020 or whenever his last similar moment was and have just been checking to see if there’s anything new when I think about it. Last I saw on Twitter, there was a screenshot of him threatening to dox people.

A multi day increasingly hateful and word salady crash out makes one wonder where are friends/family to take away the phone.

A momentous day

Already preparing for Ticketmaster to break my heart when I cannot get tickets for TS12 tour after not getting any for Eras.
