Day 4 - 1/23/25
• Would consider cutting funding to sanctuary cities. Isn’t it true that blue states contribute more to the economy and red pull from it, could be wrong. (1)

• RFK Jr’s confirmation hearing is set for next week. That won’t be a shitshow at all.
• Temporary order at DOJ for any ongoing cases being litigated in the Civil Rights Division. Again, they only care about white males, see above comment on Civil Right act.

• House Republicans are putting together a select committee to investigate January 6th. They should check with Liz Cheney she probably has some notes on this.
• More bad news for Pete Hegseth, but Republicans stand behind him. This guy is just bad news, they need to just drop his nomination..

• Federal DEI employees were put on leave and then Trump threatened action against DEI programs in the private sector. Does this mean Title VII of the Civil Rights Act is next?
• Fox News revealed Biden’s letter to Trump. I hope he didn’t use to large words to confuse him.

• Demanded Putin to make a deal to end the war. Didn’t he say we would do that before he was sworn into office if he was elected?

• Instructions for DOJ to investigate state officials who interfere or obstruct immigration enforcement efforts. Again, more dehumanization and anyway he can find to prosecute people he considers enemies.

Day 3 - 1/22/25
• Based on executive order refugee arrivals to the US are suspended until further notice. This is not shocking at all, but very disheartening.
• ICE updates terminology from noncitizen to illegal alien. More ways the GOP likes to dehumanize people.
