It was really fun emulating the #anime -style from season IV's The Fury, originally done in 2016 by Japanese Studio 4°C.

Bonus: a fluffy boy

Panels 1 and 2 show a young Rose standing before an ominous structure high above the clouds. As she recounts the memory: "At the top of the world lies a door. It was a door to this earth's final secret, and I was the first to stand in front of it." "Deep inside laid countless strange glass tubes, all of which had long since broken, leaving nothing but dust inside them." Rose is pictured walking along a row of said tubes before turning towards one of them still radiating with light. "That is.. all except for one." Inside the tube is a small child suspended in glowing liquid, bound by some sort of tape emblazoned with "ABILITY-TYPE-008". She has the ears and tail of a cat-like animal. The child's face is covered by a respirator mask. Rose stares at the scene with a silent shock apparent on her face.

The child stirs, slighty opening an eye as a single arm wriggles free from its bindings. "I didn't know who--or what-- I was looking at." Rose recalls. The child reaches forward and places a hand on the inner wall of the tube, grasping for Rose's hand just on the other side of the glass. Rose's expression shifts as something bubbles up inside of her. "But when that little hand reached out for mine, I knew in an instant." Rose quietly acknowledges what she has to do as she mutters "okay" to herself. With her hand still on the glass, she pulls her other hand back into a fist as a confident smile creeps across her face. "You were someone... that I needed to save!"

Q: "What's your thoughts on Robots?" Tyana responds, pointing her finger matter-of-factly: "With a capital R? Like the 2005 Blue Sky film? It alright." Her hand then falls and reaches across for her other arm. "Actual robots, though? Nah, I don't trust 'em." She thinks back on her past experiences getting shot at or nearly being run over by autonomous machines. "Every robot I've ever met has attacked me without hesitation."

Q: "I'm thinking about getting into Drone Photography. Does TyTy have any advice about Drones?" TyTy adopts a surprisingly serious expression as she starts listing her steps. "First off, it depends on whether the chassis is plastic or metal; depending on the frame, you might need to hit it with a branch or a brick before it drops into pummeling range, and--" Bee quickly sweeps in from the right to gently usher Tyana out of frame. "Wait, what?" Tyana protests, visibly confused. "What did I say?"

From the Vault: Robots and Drones

A lone home built in a mountainous area. Morning light is bouncing off the front of the house as a soft plume of smoke wafts from its chimney. A second level is built into the hilly area the house stands on, with an additional path leading to its entrance.

Teenah stands before the Moon Temple, gazing up the long series of stairs leading to its front gate. A little over halfway up the stairs sits a stone relief of the Moon in a crescent phase, and beyond that lie the perimeter walls of the temple. Even at this distance, its power and influence is felt.

The inner gardens of the Moon Temple at night. In its center sits a large pavilion, whose dimly lit lanterns are washed out by the light of the full moon. The pavilion's butterfly motif stands out sharply in the moonlight, and a figure can be seen dancing underneath it...

Can't sleep, have some #Talemon Prologue concept sketches

Marta, the down-to-earth and surprisingly laid-back hunter, reaches forward to tousle Teenah's hair with a smile on her face. It's as if she's saying "Hey kid, don't worry about it".

Uncle Opold, who is actually no one's uncle, sits atop a haybale with a pitchfork casually resting on his shoulder. He seems to be regaling Teenah with tales of his heyday. Teenah doesn't seem to mind; perhaps he is a good storyteller?

Gavlin, the stoic and serious blacksmith, works on hammering out a blade on an anvil as Teenah watches on with a curious look.

An anthropomorphic skunk girl (named Lydia) walks down a long nondescript hallway akin to a liminal space. She carries a mirror under her arm, but it doesn't seem to reflect anything..

In continuity with the first image, Lydia gazes into the mirror, seeing a form similar to hers on its surface. The figure has no pupils, and its hair rests loosely at the shoulders. There's a text box in the foreground describing Lydia's thoughts: "A Mirror? But the reflection is strange..."

Lydia hides behind a partition in a cocktail dress as what appears to be a living doll trudges through the halls of a museum. The doll carries a small sword in one hand and its detached head in the other. Its eyes glow with an otherworldly light, as if searching for something.

In continuity with the previous image, Lydia ponders as an anthropomorphic cockatiel named Terry speaks to her in front of a museum display. Terry's shoulders are slumped, and he seems sullen. "Gotta admit," he says, "I had a feelin' that somethin' like this would happen. After last time, I'm convinced that Trouble likes keepin' you around, Miss L."

Things I'd like to do some day: A series of small multi-genre Paranormal Horror games that take cues from visual novels, RPGMaker games, and everything in between. #Talemon

Q: Does Misty like headpats? Tyana blinks. It's unusual to get mail for Talemon characters. "Misty? Well that's unexpected." TyTy looks over her shoulder, where the subject of today's question just so happens to be standing. "What do you think, Misty? Headpats, yes or no?" Misty finishes tying back her hair and strikes a well-practiced pose. In a chipper and friendly voice, she says "So much as touch me, and I'll beat you within an inch of your life!" She punctuates her statement with a wink. "Thanks so much for your question!"

Rose stares down an unknown figure in the midst of a storm, holding an unconscious cat-eared child in her arms. Rose's right eye is injured, but her left is focused and indignant. Her hair, normally tied in a large and adventurous braid, has come undone and hangs loose at her side. Whatever hell she endured to come this far, it was clear that Rose was not about to give up now.

"Got everything?" Bee looks back over her shoulder at Tyana, who is carrying a large sack conspicuously labeled "Beach Junk". TyTy shoots a quick thumbs up and an "Aye!" as Bee begins opening the door to their home. "Alright, then..." Bee says as the door swings open. "We're home!" Inside, Bee is met with an unusual sight. Ryudo, normally a paragon of stoicism, is lounging on the couch with a mountain of pizza boxes and an open bottle of sake, watching Umamusume on the big screen TV. The color from Bee's face drains in confusion as they make eye contact...

Looks like our Summer Vacation is over.
