I have tons of feelings about FFT and Matsuno's oeuvre, so I was pumped to hop on and gush (seriously, we talk about WW2 dioramas and namedrop Crimson Shroud and Dungeon Explorers)

Teenah and the village hunter Marta duck behind the brush and they track a large and assumedly dangerous mark. Hidden in the shadows, Marta keeps her eyes on the target as she goes over the plan of attack. Teenah focuses on listening attentively.

TyTy looks up at Guildmaster Lilia, who is reading through various folios. "You know, Guildmaster," Tyana starts as she gets Lilia's attention, "You remind me a lot of my mom. You both have that 'Tired Old Lady' look!" Guildmaster Lilia's face darkens as her features settle into a frustrated scowl. "There, right there!" Tyana exclaims. "That's the look! You could be twins!"

it's been like 3 years since the last time they crossed paths it's kind of insane

Teenah stands in the middle of a boxing ring, practicing her straight punch. TyTy coaches her from the ropes, putting on her best Mickey Goldmill impression. The room is dark, but lit from the center by ceiling lights. Teenah wears the tattered remains of a red martial arts uniform around her waist over a dark navy, almost black one-piece backless jumper. similar red cloth covers her hands, wrapped around the forearm with bandages. Her ears and uniform are tied in place with a type of ceremonial cord, yellowed and worn from the passage of time. TyTy by contrast wears a simple red sweater and white cat-eared beanie over black shorts. The styles a profoundly different, but somehow they ended up color-coordinated...

Time to get back into form.
