Been missing American pastrami (made with beef - it's usually pork or poultry in Europe), so I got brisket from a butcher and made my own. Made reubens for dinner, served with the pickles I made the other day.

Fermented pickles in dill, garlic, horseradish, and black pepper. Perfect for summer.

Today's adventures in cooking - lettuce wraps with tofu, a cabbage slaw, and a spicy peanut sauce. Not the prettiest, but the sauce is addictive. Will definitely revisit.

They are super normal still in Sweden. They even have lightweight "rainsuit" versions that all kids wear when its raining (which is often where I am). I'm jealous of them sometimes. They seem super useful.
