Oh yeah, I did that with Skyrim when it first came out. I didn't see dragons for about 30 hours (I completed the thief and assassin guild quest lines before anything else). Then went back to the main quest line, completed a few more quests and THEN dragons started appearing. Haha, I missed so much.
