Not to be that guy, but I am tired of “autism” being used as a verb. Especially when it’s used to refer to someone who just, has an interest in something.

It’s exactly the same as when people online started using “ocd” as a little quirk to give themselves, when not understanding the actual thing.

I appreciate it, I just needed to vent a bit haha. I feel like my expectations for myself are higher than my skill, and yeah, it’s frustrating. I have been getting better, I’m just not where I want to be yet 🤷

I still mess around in the DAW, I still love the same music, and I still have that same passion to create. I just can't, and I don't know what to do. Everything I write now either sounds awful, uninspired, or is just rehashing something I've done before. I don't know what to do

Working on music has been so difficult since 2021. At the beginning of that year, I started going through chemotherapy. Even though I’ve been done with treatment since December of the same year, over 3 years ago now, the wind from my sails has never come back

I see it more as a preservation thing. Like yeah all the music from mk8 is in dx, but would they also do something like not putting the original Xenoblade Chronicles ost in favor of the ost of XCDE? Even for those tracks, there are slight differences 🤷
