it was really hard for me to not go overboard with his outfit design, trying to remember less is more sometimes even if he's a jester, I wanted him to have a simple silhouette since his fighting style will be acrobatic. It was very tempting to add more layers and frills though, I stayed strong 💪

Anyways I went to a gay wedding for my gay homie this past weekend and got to be a groomsmen, better photos coming when he finally sends them to me

Oh my god and I originally had a way different dynamic for Dae and Zan, I had Dae as a bratty dom/bottom for all of a week before I realized I much prefer tender fluff

Dae is aloof to everyone until he warms up to them (which may take several semesters), its all part of the backstory~☆

When I designed him, I had basically no backstory for him at all, just knew I wanted a dark and brooding satyr with an ancestral warlock pact with baphomet

Now he has a tragic backstory, a doomed future and a sweet fire genasi man who loves him very much (*≧ω≦)

My love for him has caused my art to improve steadily over the course of the year, I designed him in March of last year but only really started drawing him in earnest at the beginning of this year, he's come a long way I think! (Can you believe he used to have snake bites and had a different name)
