Between all the injuries and horrible officiating, the gods really hate the Lions.

Josh Paschal was activated from NFI, but he was not ready in time and is now out for the season.

The Lions have has trouble gauging the severity of some injuries.

So they can review IF he was brought down, but they have to turn a blind eye to HOW he was brought down.

Perfect example there of why the NFL needs to make penalties reviewable.

Mariota gets tripped, wasn’t called down by contact.

Play is reviewed, overturned as a sack. However, despite the trip being obvious on film, they can’t overturn that missed penalty.

At this point, I’m not sure that the Lions are even the 8th best team in the NFC.

If the Lions lose to the Cowboys next week, this will go down as one of the worst weeks in Lions history.

If you’re the Packers, all you need to do is stack the box against the run. With no St. Brown, Goff can’t connect with anyone else and isn’t seeing the field at all.

The injury curse evolved.
