The final boss didnt have much for dramatics with the fight being very simple and fast. The music was great, showing off what a CD can do, but not nearly as impressive as i'd expect as someone who grew up with a 64 and hearing about the superiority of CD's to cartridge.

Solid 9/10 from me

Retro Review: Spyro the Dragon

Such a relaxing game that a younger me always wanted to play! The movement is fun and controls dont heck the player as other older titles do. It doesn't hold the player's hand too much with the puzzles being simple enough for a curious mind to figure out intuitively

This game is mostly loyal to the source material,but it doesn't follow 1 for 1. However the story concessions did not invade the experience

Overall: 9.5/10

Fall damage is crazy high and collision detection can be odd at times.
The controls weren't clunky and in my retro adventure that is a BIG WIN

If you're looking for an old school experience with exploration/puzzles/dungeons, this completely scratches that itch. The soundtrack does not miss with keeping the player immersed, though it may be lacking in variety in levels.
