The film follows John's journey with ALS and his husband Peter's life as his caregiver, as they go on with humor and the strength of community.
This film is a beautiful portrait. I was honored to be a part of it.

The feature documentary LOVING JOHN centers around John Godinet, an irrepressible Pacific Islander and ultra-runner living with his husband Peter in rural Maryland.

I had an amazing time in Chicago at the premiere of Cocodrilos! It was a real treat to celebrate with this international crew.
Congratulations, all!
Stay tuned for future opportunities to see this awesome film.

I'm excited to share that Cocodrilos (CROCODILES), a feature film I scored, will have its world premiere April 6 at the Chicago Latino Film Fest.
It was my pleasure to once again to collaborate with the amazing director J. Xavier Velasco on this gripping and timely thriller.
If you're interested in putting together your own computer, there tons of free resources that can help you figure out what to get and how to build. I think the best one is Logical Increments - it covers compatibility and gives builds for every budget.

By building my own, I get exactly what I want. You can build a very good machine for < $1000, with room for low-cost upgrades in the future. You can re-use some things in future builds, like the case and power supply. Also, it's fun!
A lot of off-the-shelf computers aren't really designed with a composer's needs in mind. To get the components you want, you often end up paying things for things that you don't need (for example, high-end graphics).
After a busy year, I finally had some time to do a system rebuild!
It looks intimidating, but once you get past the jargon, it's not really that hard. If you can build IKEA furniture, then you can build a PC.

I had supremely talented musical collaborators on this film, all locally sourced right here in the Hudson Valley

I had to get a simple procedure for my kid (ear tubes) because she was having difficulty hearing. It took 3 months, hours on the phone, and me personally getting the billing codes and delivering them to the insurer myself to get the pre approval. It's ludicrous.
