I think I got cold for AeroGPX after playing the demo aswell. 100% a game I would buy if I didn't try it first, but after playing the demo I've learned I'm definitely not the target audience

That's the first house asset that I've made for a racing circuit.
I'm currently working on creating more time-attack maps into the game. Could be related to the fact that I've just implemented pacenotes... But tsss! That's a secret!

Never develop on Nvidia GPU. Driver is too forgiving, and the moment you test your perfectly functional code on anything else it just break into pieces

I've repurposed multiplayer lobby UI for it. Compared to multiplayer though, it doesn't use cars from your garage, you're free to choose any car you want, but there's no damage or tuning sadly

I've managed to bring back split screen support. It was rotting away for months now, with ghosts of its existence creeping around the code. Took a couple of hours to get it to render all the new features

This is the first track in game that isn't off-road. It does take a lot more patience and precision to make these more precise curves, specially considering that my level editor is not exactly suited for that

I had to implement 3d text rendering just for this results screen.
I don't think I'll use 3d text anywhere else, but I think 4 hours spent on it are worth it

Even ignoring non-destructive editing being broken - the performance and stability is just so much worse than 2.1. I understand that it's a new version and bugs are to be expected, but I had so much work lost from random crashes from me simply pressing Ctrl + Z too fast

I often use indexed color palette in my workflow. If you apply filters with indexed color palette - filters ignore it. And as a result - what you get shown during editing on screen is different from the export. And it's just one issue, I have so many of them that it's pointless to list them

A small rant but I've been trying to switch to GIMP 3 from 2.1 for the past couple of months and it's just such a horrible experience all around. Non-destructive editing is just broken and gives me all kinds of weird bugs, and somehow it seems like I'm the only person having issues with it
