I'm excited because I got an invitation to go to a rehearsal with other band teachers and sight read some new middle school repertoire!! I'm it's totally an advertisement thing, but it's gonna be so fun

I played well, and the lady was quiet and she played perfectly fine.

that she brought a first chair flutist from an actual auditioned ensemble to play all the music alongside me. So she's gonna put me up on this pedestal and I'm gonna be high and expected to actually play good. This old white lady is intimidating 😭 (3/3)

And like. I'm the only upper woodwind in the group. There were two other flute players, both who don't play too well. Which is fine, I don't judge. But like the conductor puts me up on the pedestal as an amazing woodwind player and it's a lot of pressure. So I was delighted (sarc) when I saw (2/3)

I got to community band early, so I was in the back of the parking lot with my pipe. I do this because I don't like them and they misgender me all the time. But I still kinda like playing on Some sort of ensemble and I'm already in this one ya know? So I come here high for extra fun (1/3)

Tho tbf it is my fault, I had to reschedule like so many times and haven't seen him in a long time. So, this should've been noticed like. 3 months ago, but alas apparently feeling extremely tired makes it Really hard to get my blood work in

I thought 100mg gave me boob growth so my DR was ok with me doubling to 200mg. And now my T levels are very high aswell and I think it's been stunting my transition as well as my life in general (perpetual lethargy)

Anyways, I think I have actually been in a depressive episode or something similar for the past.. 6 or so months? I think when I doubled my progesterone I had majorly fucked up

I think my biggest issue with it is the face blindness. All the humans and all the hobbits look the same. Thank God Sam and frodo were the only two I was able to tell apart

Watched LOTR basically all day. Was hella good. Even though it was my 3rd time watching it, it still feels like the first. (I forget everything very quickly)

POV 12 hours later (I'm going to get so much stuff done and I will have spoons to actually do it because I'm not at work)

I can do this. I can push through until next friday. I can save my sick days for next year. I got this.

And I don't want to call out tomorrow because it's a good day schedule wise

Been watching a lot of random movies lately with my roomie. It's been quite nice to experience art people put so so so many hours in. Something we def take for granted

On the bright side, despite it being a busy week, by no means has it been a bad week. I just got a keep this energy / mindset going for another week and a half

Spring break can't come soon enough. I'm just so tired every morning and I just don't want to go in :(
