Finally finished Trails in the Sky the 1st Chapter

Fantastic remake they really elevates one of the weaker entries in the series.

The perfect starting point and a must play for JRPG fans!

A little busy at the moment with studying for exams and and a review project, but excited to dive in when I find time nonetheless!

Finished the Trails in the Sky remake demo on Steam and it was really good! The high production value Falcom game that is a very faithful, yet fresh take on the game that started the epic. May try the Switch 2 demo aswell to decide where to play it

Just beat Sword of the Sea in one sitting. Imo its Giant Squids best, taking aspects from Journey, Abzu and The Pathless and combining them with a surf mechanic which makes it incredibly meditative. A great OST too!

Great demo for it that was on Steam earlier this summer, so have high hopes!

Finished Tales of Berseria

One of the better Tales of I've played so far. Really liked the characters and themes here.

Some really boring dungeons though with some of the least inspired puzzle mechanics (if there even were any). Still, enjoyed my time with it!

Went back to FFXIV to do the latest story related contents (main story, normal and alliance raids). Still hold up as one of my favourite FF narratives. Excited for the next patch!

Played through Dear Me, I was. A very heartfelt life story told with minimal gameplay, but really well made nonetheless.

Highly recommend if you enjoy games like Florence or Lost Words: Beyond the Page

Watched A Samurai in Time today

By far the worst movie I’ve seen this year. Amateur acting and the story and characters was poorly written. Don’t recommend 😅

Beat Donkey Kong Bananza yesterday. A very good game. Did 100% on the first few areas and then mostly main story and some optional stuff. A must play for Switch 2, but not as good as Mario Odyssey imo

Did you watch the developer message they had a while ago? Was that they felt unsatisfied with how they presented the story etc and wanted to improve with this interlude chapter, so I am a bit hopeful atleast!

An incredible sequel with insane player freedom and an incredible touching story. One of the best games of this year for sure!

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma ✅

Expected Story of Season with a little more story and combat, but came out with a great JRPG with farming elements as just one aspect of it. Highly recommend checking it out!
